Agri-Fresh(Formerly Agri-Tel Transportation) is a long haul refrigerated and dry freight carrier, specialized in the transport of refrigerated perishables for the food industry. Agri-Fresh‘s primary outbound areas of operation are Manitoba and Saskatchewan for delivery to California, Arizona, Nevada and bordering states; reloading produce from California and Arizona destined for the grocery stores of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Agri-Fresh was founded by Kevin Small in 1993 as a single truck operation, transitioning from bulk commodities to refrigerated and dry van freight. Rondex / Canada Car Color provides automotive refinish products to body shops, as well as to novices looking to do small repairs and restorations. Rondex was started by Ted Greenwood and currently have locations in Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, Edmonton, Calgary, Nanaimo, and Victoria. Canada Car Color locations are in Winnipeg, Calgary, and Edmonton. ABS Warehouse is located in Winnipeg. The company’s primary products are automotive paints and sundry items, as well as body shop equipment. Combined, Rondex, Canada Car Color, and ABS Warehouse employ 90 people and are considered a service and technological leader in the industry.
Everett Greenwood is a graduate of the Red River College Business Administration program with a major in marketing. He has been working at Rondex since he was 9 years old, starting as a paint mixer, then shipper / receiver. When he was old enough to drive, he began to deliver product and developed relationships with customer. After completion of the Business Administration program, he began working full time as an inside customer service rep. In 2010, Everett and his cousin and business partner Bret became minority shareholders in the business. Since that time, they have been instrumental in the expansion of Rodex and Canada Car Color. S3 is a Professional Interior Design and Lighting Design firm. They are focused on creating smart, sustainable spaces for commercial and residential environments. The team at S3 believes in working closely with clients, stakeholders, architects, engineers and trades to create the most effective spaces possible. They offer full design packages that take a project from concept, to working drawings and specifications, and conclude with construction site reviews. Simmons Masonry Inc.
Simmons Masonry Inc. launched in 2006, bringing together a team of dedicated journeyman and apprentices with over 20 years of combined experience. They perform seamless restoration of masonry buildings as well as applying masonry products to new home construction throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding area. In addition to new construction, Simmons Masonry Inc. rejuvenates older homes with application of brick or cultured stone bringing them into the 21st century. Established in 1965, SMS Engineering Ltd is a Winnipeg based, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consulting firm. They are locally owned and operated, and are proud to have worked on many important landmark projects, predominantly throughout Manitoba and North-West Ontario. Vomar Industries began operations in 1995 refurbishing propane cylinders for sale at service stations. Vomar has grown extensively since then and is the largest manufacturer of re-qualified propane tanks in Canada. In 2002 Tank Traders was created as a new division of Vomar Industries Inc. and currently services over 4000 Tank Trader dealers across Canada. Tank Traders delivers pre-filled cylinders to convenience stores, gas bars, Grocery stores and bix box stores as part of their Barbecue Tank Exchange program. The Access Store is a retail supplier of medical goods and wheelchair lifts. David Tweed started the company in 1994 as a home based business; registered The Access Store in 1999 and they have been in their location since 2009. Western Scrap Metals Inc.
Western Scrap Metals Inc. is a 4th generation family-owned scrap metal recycling business operating in North Point Douglas for the past 65 years. The business purchases scrap metals, plastics and cardboard from retail (door trade) and industrial accounts, sorts and packages for shipment to refineries and smelters in other markets. A secondary business is demolition of HVAC units (boilers and chillers) from commercial and large residential buildings. There are now three generations of fmaily in management and 10 employees. Hart Kaplan has managed Western Scrap since 1983.
